Community profile: Meet Aslanbek Magamadov

My name is Aslanbek. I'm from Grozny, in the North Caucasus in Russia. It's not big, but it's a very beautiful city. Together with my brothers, we run a small family business providing legal translations services; also we provide website development services. The greater part of our clients comprise immigrants and refugees.

I’ve come to the US on an exchange program and learn to do business the American way. Over the past few days I’ve learned and seen a lot, and thanks to Ramla and Oren, as well as other PANA staff members, continue to get to know new and amazing people and concepts. This is my first experience with Somalis, and I’m pleased that the Somali community is represented here by smart, positive and energetic young leaders.

During my stay in the US, I hope not only to get an experience in project management but also to get to know the American culture in all its diversity and participate in local community life.
